SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 11/11/2024 Deputy David Garces responded to a residence in Greensboro for a report of a theft of a $1,300.00 wood splitter. The investigation remained active for months until there was probable cause found that Scott Fellows and Serina Flood were involved in the theft of a wood splitter. Scot Fellows turned himself in to the Barre City Police Department on 06/27/2025 and Serina Flood was arrested on 06/24/2025 in Barre Town along with other active warrants for her arrest.

Description: On 07/08/2025 while on patrol in Westfield a red in color sedan was traveling at a high rate of speed in a posted 35MPH zone. Driver drove in a negligent manner at high rates of speed on route 100. After deputy's initiated blue lights and sirens driver did not stop until East Hill rd. in Troy VT. Driver was taken into custody and processed at Orleans County Sheriff Department before being released.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 07/23/2025 Deputy Cota was called to assist Orleans Ambulance with a male who had fallen in a store and appeared intoxicated. Deputy Cota arrived on scene and the male, later identified as Eric Oberg, was transported via ambulance to North Country Hospital in Newport City. Upon further investigation it is believed that Oberg had driven to the store under the influence. Oberg was arrested and processed for Driving While Under the Influence.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 08/25/2025 Deputy Cota received a report from Shaw’s in Derby of a man yelling obscenities in the store during business hours. Management asked the man to leave prior to calling law enforcement. Upon reviewing video footage of the incident, Deputy Cota identified the man as Daniel Cyr from prior interactions. Cyr was later located and cited for Disorderly Conduct with assistance from the Newport Police Department.

Description: On 08/24/2025 Deputy David Garces began an investigation into a possible ongoing stalking occurrence in the town of Barton. The investigation revealed that Timothy Souliere (62) displayed a pattern of unusual surveillance on at least one victim (20 yrs old) who lived on a private driveway in Barton. After the investigation was completed, Souliere was located driving in the town of Derby and taken into custody. After processing he was held on lack of $5,000 bail.

Description: On 08/08/2025 at approximately 1800 hours, Deputy Garces patrolled RT 5 south in Coventry and observed a vehicle traveling north going 84 mph in a 50 mph zone. Deputy conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and it eventually came to a stop on High Acres Rd. Further investigation revealed that the operator did not have a driver's license. He was arrested and processed at the Sheriff's Department prior to his release.
