SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 12-21-2025 the victim advised he had been at the Circle K in Barton, Vermont when a person known to him as Jeffrey Markum-Shelton came up to him and stabbed him in the left arm. The victim then drove to North Country Hospital where he received seven stitches to close up the wound.

She went to his residence at approximately 1124 hours and was told that he was not there. Farley has conditions of release to remain at his residence in North Troy between 2pm and 12pm. Farley, not being home at 1124 hours was a violation of his conditions of release.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 03/11/2025 at 2121 hours, Deputy David Garces responded to passerby report of a one vehicle crash on RT16 in Greensboro, VT. Upon arrival Deputy Garces observed a vehicle nose first into a snowbank off the road, with the vehicle still partially on the roadway. The operator of the vehicle was a male identified as Axl Errington. Errington displayed signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested and processed for DUI. DMV records showed that Errington’s license was suspended, and it also required an Ignition Interlock Device which the vehicle did not have. Records also showed that Errington had three prior DUI convictions, which led to Errington being charged for DUI # 4. Errington was flash cited to appear in court on 03/12/2025 at 1230 PM. He was also given court conditions to not buy have or consume alcohol.

Description: On 03/09/2025 at 1000 hours, Deputy Hunter Cota responded to an address on Cemetery Ridge Rd in Greensboro, VT for a report of a domestic incident that occurred between 0330-1000 hours. Investigation revealed that Edmund Dahm was in lengthy verbal dispute with the alleged victim while being intoxicated, and at one point placed the victim in fear of physical bodily harm. Dahm was reported to have left the residence. Deputies located Dahm walking on Cemetery Ridge, and noted he was still intoxicated. Dahm was subsequently taken into custody and processed at the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputy Garces observed a motor vehicle violation and conducted a traffic stop. A DMV check showed that the operator, Curtis Carpenter, had a criminally suspended license. He was charged for the offense pending arraignment on 04/15/2025 at 0830 hours.

One of the individuals that was in the car was identified as Jammie Cassidy. Cassidy had conditions to remain at her residence in Glover between the hours of 6pm and 6am. Cassidy was located at 110 Water St in Barton at 7:30pm which is a violation of her conditions of release.

Description: On 10-09-2025 Deputy David Garces began an investigation for a theft of a Fred's Energy Fleet card from The Eliminator Pest & Property Services in Lyndonville. Investigation revealed that the Fleet card was stolen and there was over $8,200.00 of fuel fraudulently purchased between June & October of 2024 in Derby and Newport. During one of these fraudulent transactions there was fuel spilled at Fred's Energy station causing property damage. Further investigation revealed that Jason Degreenia was involved with this theft and fraud. VSP Derby notified Deputies when they conducted a routine traffic stop on I-91 in Barton and found Degreenia as a passenger in the vehicle. Degreenia was transported to the Sheriff's Office for processing prior to being lodged at Northern State Corrections for lack of $5,000.00 bail.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On Thursday, 01/30/25 at approx 1230PM, Christina Bruce, Age 43, arrived at the Orleans Criminal Court bldg located at 217 Main St, Newport City VT 05855. It was determined that Bruce had an active arrest warrant from the Orleans Criminal Court, Dkt # 22-CR-09362, for failure to appear for a court hearing on 01/24/25, $500.00 bail. Therefore, Bruce was temporarily detained. Bruce appeared before the Judge at 0130PM and was released, the arrest warrant was cancelled by the court.

The operator, Austin Emmons was arrested for driving while licence suspended, Two counts of violations of conditions of release. aftera search warrant was executed on the car he facing additional charge of felony possession of cocaine.
