Arrest on Arrest Warrant

Sheriff Jennifer Harlow reports the arrest of the below listed individual after the incident described below.

INCIDENT: Arrest for active arrest warrant.

DATE/TIME: 04/23/24 12:30PM
LOCATION (specific): Newport City, Vermont

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On Tuesday, 04/23/24 @ 1230PM, Arnold Seeley DOB 02/09/88, entered the Orleans Family Court Bldg to speak with a court clerk. It was determined that Seeley had an active Arrest Warrant from the Caledonia Criminal Court for failure to appear for a court hearing on 01/22/2024, $ 50.00 bail, Dkt # 23-CR-09528. Seeley was temporarily detained until the Caledonia Criminal Court Judge directed he be released on the bail and recited to appear in Caledonia Criminal Court on Monday, 04/29/24 @ 0830AM. The Arrest Warrant was then cancelled. See attached Arrest Warrant and Citation.
