SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 03/07/2025 at 1947 hours, Deputy David Garces was patrolling the village of Orleans in Barton, VT. Deputy Garces observed a motor vehicle violation and conducted a traffic stop. A DMV check showed that the operator, Curtis Carpenter, had a criminally suspended license. He was charged for the offense pending arraignment on 04/15/2025 at 0830 hours.
