SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 10/23/2025 while on duty for the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department, Deputy Battista patrolled on Rt 100 in the town of Westfield. Deputy Battista initiated a traffic stop with David Anderson for a traffic infraction. At that time it was found that Anderson was under license suspension for Criminal DLS and had an active in state warrant, that was active since 2021. Anderson was arrested and transported to the Orleans County Criminal Court House. Anderson was released and cited for driving under suspension.
