SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 04/20/2026 while on duty for the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department, Deputy Battista conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation in Irasburg.

One of the passengers in the vehicle was identified as Travis Ward. During the traffic stop, Travis was found to be in violation of his court issued Conditions of Release.

Travis was placed under arrest and transported to the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department where he was processed and lodged at Northern State Correction Facility.
