On 09/14/2026 at approximately 1401 hours, Deputy Battista was patrolling in the town of Greensboro, VT. Deputy Battista witnessed a motor vehicle violation and conducted a traffic stop on route 16 in Greensboro, VT.

The operator was identified as Carmelo Deida Jr and was subsequently arrested and processed for Driving with a Criminally Suspended License.

The vehicle being operated was towed from the scene and the registration plates were seized.
