Description:
On 09/25/2026 at approximately 2216 hours, Sergeant David Garces patrolled Route 16 in the town of Barton when he observed a vehicle make several motor vehicle violations. Sergeant Garces conducted a traffic stop on this vehicle and further investigation revealed that the operator was impaired. The operator was arrested and processed at the Sheriff's Department prior to his release with a court date for the charge of DUI.
