CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Derby, VT
SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On January 29, 2024, while on duty for the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department, Deputy Kulakowski was dispatched to a welfare check to Paul Therrien's residence in Derby. After further investigation it was determined Therrien had active bail conditions to not have contact with Alyssa Coburn. Coburn was at the residence with Therrien when Deputy Kulakowski arrived. Deputy Kulakowski learned Therrien had an active warrant for his arrest for Violating his conditions of release. Therrien was arrested for Violating his conditions of release and was transported to the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department for booking and processing. Therrien was lodged over to Northern State Correctional Facility.
