INCIDENT: Arrest for active arrest warrant.

LOCATION (specific): Newport City, Vermont

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On Thursday, 2/29/24, the following individuals entered the Orleans Family Court Building and were found to have active arrests warrants.

Casey L. Humphrey, Age 21, Brownington VT-Arrest Warrant for Failure to Appear for a court hearing on 02/27/24, Bail set at $ 5000.00.

Rebecca Ray, Age: 31, Derby VT-Arrest Warrant for Failure to appear for a court hearing on 02/27/24, Bail set at $ 200.00.

Both individuals were detained and brought before the Criminal Court Judge for a hearing and were then released from custody. Both individuals have been scheduled to appear in Orleans Court at a later date.
