Orleans County Vermont, also known as the Northeast Kingdom, is a beautiful land filled with stunning views, rich fishing grounds, and stock full of nature activities. Our department protects this 721 sq mile treasure with its 27,000 people and 1788 miles of roads.

We are committed to working with our community and policing with the citizens of Orleans County to achieve a safe and desirable place to live, work and visit.

Integrity – We adhere to the highest ethical standards, assuring our community that their trust in us is well deserved.  We are committed to the enforcement of laws and the preservation of order and property.

Service – We provide the highest level of service by treating the public and our colleagues with courtesy and respect. We are responsive to our community and understand that our appearance, words and demeanor contribute to the public’s confidence in us. We have compassion for victims of crime. We will advocate for social and other supportive services for victim/survivors, youth, and all who have been involved in the criminal justice system.
